Rebeca Chavez (she/her/ella) is the first in her family to graduate with an Associate’s in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. Although Rebeca’s post-grad career began in data analysis and research, Rebeca slowly pivoted her energies back to the education realm she started in. Rebeca has also researched and crafted culturally aware programming that serves youth and their families navigating the juvenile justice system. Being a native to the Mexican state of Guerrero, Rebeca also strives to provide an indigenous lens to her facilitation in programs.
